Box type universal gantry crane

Box type universal gantry crane is mainly used for loading and unloading operations of outdoor cargo yards, material yards, and bulk cargo. Its metal structure is like a portal frame, with two legs installed under the main beam, which can walk directly on the ground track. The two ends of the main beam can have outward overhanging cantilever beams. The box type universal gantry crane has the characteristics of high site utilization, large operating range, wide adaptability, and strong universality.

Routine maintenance of box type universal gantry crane

1. Check the oil level and quality of each gearbox, and add lubricating oil to each lubrication part according to regulations. Lubricating grease must be kept clean and the grade meets the requirements.

2. Check the foundation bolts and connecting bolts of each motor, gearbox, etc. If any looseness is found, it should be tightened.

3. Check the clearance and efficiency of each brake.

4. Check and maintain the flexibility and reliability of safety protection devices such as limit switches.

5. Check the wear and breakage of the steel wire rope. If the breakage exceeds 7% within each pitch, it should be replaced in a timely manner. The connection between the steel wire rope and the drum must be firm.

6. Check whether the electrical equipment is operating normally. If any abnormal situation is found, notify the dedicated electrician to conduct timely maintenance.

7. Check that the running line foundation does not sink or crack, the running line track is smooth, and the joints are good; The grounding device of the walking line should be kept in good condition.

8. Do a good job of cleaning the entire machine and keep it clean regularly.

9. New or old machines that have undergone major repairs and are put into use should be maintained according to the break in period regulations and oil should be changed on time.

Key points of installation steps

1. Cooperate with the crane to assemble the main beam, support legs, and wheel box on the ground according to the markings. After passing the inspection, assemble the main longitudinal beam on the ground. First, use the crane to lift the main longitudinal beam in order and divide it into one side main beam and the other side main beam. Install the walking platform and wait for the next step of assembly.

2. Assemble the large cart wheel box onto the cart track, align and fix it diagonally, use a crane to lift one side of the support leg and assemble it with the wheel box, connect it firmly with a pin, and then adjust and tighten it on the ground anchor with a steel wire rope and a chain block. Assemble the other side in the same way so that the two side support legs are perpendicular to the ground, ensuring the installation size of the main beam.

3. Use two car cranes to lift one side of the main beam from both ends and slowly adjust and align it with the support legs. Use bolts to fix and tighten the connecting plate under the main beam and the connecting plate on the support leg support beam. Then install the main beam on the other side. Special attention: If the main beam is not firmly fixed, the crane must not loosen or remove the hook.

4. A single truck crane is used to lift the connection frame and securely connect it with bolts.

5. Use a single crane to lift the lifting trolley onto the trolley track and adjust it so that the trolley wheel tread contacts the track surface.

6. Use a single truck crane to lift the cab, ladder platform, pedestrian walkway, railing and other accessories to fixed positions.

7. Install electrical facilities, lay electrical circuits, and remove equipment such as cables and ground anchors. After everything is ready, prepare for the test drive. During the test drive, keep records according to the requirements of the record sheet formulated by the quality inspection department.
