The measuring tube is pre precision machined, generating differential pressure at both ends of the pointed cone. The high pressure (positive pressure) of this differential pressure is the static pressure measured at the pressure port on the pipe wall before the upstream fluid contracts, while the low pressure (negative pressure) is obtained by opening a pressure hole at the center axis of the cone facing downstream.

1. Pipeline flange installation: The V-cone flowmeter has one flange at each end, which is connected to the flange on the pipeline. This installation method can be installed separately with differential pressure transmitters and is usually used to measure the flow rate of steam and high-temperature media.

2. Pipeline welding installation: When there is no flange connection between the V-cone flowmeter and the installation pipeline, direct welding is used to weld the flowmeter and pipeline together. This method has a lower installation cost and reduces the cost of four flanges, making it a one-time installation method. Suitable for installation sites of large-diameter flow meters.

3. Flange clamp installation: The V-cone flowmeter is equipped with flanges at both ends. When there is no flange connection in the connected pipeline, welding can be used for connection, and then the V-cone flowmeter is installed between the flanges.
