Scope of application:

This instrument is used to determine the impact value test of coarse aggregates for road surfaces, such as crushed stones, gravel, etc., to determine the ability of the aggregate to resist instantaneous impact or impact resistance. This test shall comply with the JTGE42-2005 Highway Engineering Aggregate Test Regulations.

Technical Specifications:

Measuring cylinder: inner diameter 76mm, inner height 51mm, wall thickness 3mm

Impact rod: A circular steel cylinder with an inner diameter of 102mm and an inner height of 50mm, and the inner measuring surface has been tempered.

Compaction rod: Steel rod with a diameter of 10mm, a length of 23mm, and a hemispherical end.

Impact hammer weight: 14.0-13.5Kg, lower cylinder diameter 100mm, bottom edge chamfered at 1.5mm, surface quenched.

Impact hammer drop height: 380 ± 5mm.
