Overview of GLY-1 foot operated oil measuring hole product

The foot operated oil measuring hole and the rotary oil measuring hole are both specialized accessories used to measure the oil level inside the tank and take oil samples. Installed on the top of the oil tank, it is used to measure the elevation and temperature of the oil inside the tank, as well as for sampling. Due to the varying degrees of harmful odors in chemical materials, they cannot be discharged into the atmosphere during measurement. One is installed on the top of each oil tank, mostly near the tank ladder platform. There is a hole cover and elastic bolt that can be sealed. In order to prevent sparks caused by the collision between the hole cover and the iron when closed, an oil resistant gasket or soft metal (copper or aluminum) is embedded in the sealing groove of the hole cover. Due to the easy friction and spark generation of the steel tape measure used for measurement when in contact with the outlet, a copper (or aluminum alloy) sleeve is embedded inside the hole tube, or a non sparking non-ferrous metal guide groove (ruler slot) is installed outside the fixed measurement point.

In order to ensure that the ruler is lowered along the same position every time during oil measurement and reduce measurement errors, an aluminum or copper guide groove is installed on one side of the inner wall of the oil measuring hole. There should be no weld seam on the bottom plate of the oil tank directly below the oil measuring hole. A measuring reference plate can be welded at this location to reduce the relative error of each measurement.
