It has high measurement accuracy, strong stability, and good repeatability. It can measure media with impurities and dirt well. The measurement principle of the V-cone flowmeter is based on the Bernoulli equation of energy conservation and the flow continuity equation in a closed pipeline. Under stable flow conditions, the flow velocity in the pipeline is proportional to the square root of the differential pressure. The positive and negative pressures generated by the throttling element form the differential pressure value, which is transmitted to the differential pressure transmitter and then transmitted to the DCS or PLC control system through the differential pressure transmitter to obtain the flow rate value.
