The continuous eight wheel road leveler is mainly used for detecting the smoothness of road surfaces. It has the functions of continuous measurement, automatic calculation, high measurement accuracy, fast speed, and displaying and printing the standard deviation of road surface smoothness. This is an important data indicator for construction inspection, completion acceptance, and road maintenance of high-grade highways, urban roads, airport runways, and other pavement projects. Not suitable for testing on roads with many potholes and severe damage.

Main technical indicators:

1. It can automatically measure, calculate, and print the mean square error. Sampling distance of 0.05 and 0.1m, repeated testing under the same conditions, with a statistical deviation of less than 0.2mm

2. Manually inputted, it can automatically print the test date (year month day) and the tested road section number (road number, mileage number, station number, road width number, sampling, out of tolerance). Each time it is printed, the station number will automatically increase or decrease

3. Automatically calculate and print the one-way cumulative value H (unit: mm) of the tested road section

4. Automatically calculate and print the graphic area S (unit: cm2) between the end face curve of the tested road section and the reference line

5. Automatically calculate and print the length value L (unit: M) of the tested road section, with an error of less than 1%

Maintenance and upkeep:

1. The instrument is powered by an internal rechargeable battery and can be used continuously for more than 20 hours after being fully charged (if the background light is turned off, the usage time can be extended).

2. Before each use, it should be fully charged (usually for about ten hours).

3. If the instrument is not used for a long time, it should be charged every 2-3 months to ensure that the battery is not damaged.

4. Flatness meter is an electronic instrument, such as sensors, instruments, printers, and other components. It should not be exposed to rain or moisture, and should be properly stored when not in use. It should be powered on regularly to avoid damage.

5. The bearings and moving parts on the rack should be lubricated regularly to prevent rust and wear. Check whether the connecting bolts are tightened before and after use. After long-distance transportation, it is especially important to carefully inspect.

6. The wear of the measuring wheel will affect the accuracy of the measurement, so after driving enough mileage, its diameter should be checked and replaced in a timely manner. In addition, the standard diameter of the measuring wheel is Ø 127.40mm.

7. When using the instrument cable, improper use can easily lead to circuit breakage. In this case, a multimeter can be used to check the continuity of the connection. The wiring position diagram of the cable connection can be found on the attached page. When troubleshooting, the broken wire must be firmly welded and not in contact with each other to avoid affecting the use of the instrument.
