Maintenance and upkeep of railway bridge erecting machines

1、 Routine maintenance: (performed before, after, and during work)

1. Regularly clean the dust and oil stains in the driver's cab and on the aircraft body, keeping them as clean as possibleCleaning inside and outside the machine room;

2. Check if the brake clearance is appropriate;

3. Check if the keys and connecting bolts on the coupling are tightened;

4. Check whether each safety device is sensitive and reliable;

5. Check the wear of the brake band and steel wire rope;

6. Check if the contacts of the controller are tightly adhered and matched;

2、 First level maintenance (conducted once a month)

1. Add lubricating grease to the rolling bearings;

2. Check the insulation condition of all electrical equipment;

3. Are the control screen, protection panel, controller, resistor, and various wiring sockets and nuts tightened;

4. Check the oil level of the reducer, the oil level and lubrication condition of the brake hydraulic solenoid. When the oil level is insufficient, lubricating oil and grease should be added.

3、 Secondary maintenance (quarterly or semi annual)

1. Add oil to the rolling bearings;

2. Check the insulation condition of all electrical equipment; .

3. Are the control screen, protection panel, controller, resistors, and various wiring sockets and nuts securely fastened.

4、 Long term maintenance (regularly carried out by technicians and dedicated maintenance personnel)

1. To maintain the geometric shape of the metal structure in accordance with the technical specifications, it is required to conduct an annual inspection of the deflection of the main beam;

2. Check the welding seams and bolt connections of the gantry, upper and lower crossbeams, support legs, trolley frame, lifting equipment, etc.
