Reasonably recovering its waste heat is a complex technology that involves the rationality and economy of waste heat utilization schemes. The commonly used recycling method is to install a waste heat boiler with an air heater. On the one hand, it uses flue gas to heat the anode furnace air supply (350 ℃), reducing the fuel or coal consumption of the anode furnace (increasing the anode furnace air supply by 100 ℃ can reduce the fuel rate by 4% to 5%, and the energy consumption of the anode furnace can be reduced by about 15%). On the other hand, the steam generated by the waste heat boiler is used for production and daily life, which can improve the utilization rate of waste heat.
The copper smelting system has a large amount of flue gas and high flue gas temperature. Using a copper smelting waste heat boiler to reduce the flue gas temperature (360-400 ℃) is beneficial for tail gas treatment (dust collection and acid production), while recovering the steam generated by waste heat for power generation and production. The use of copper smelting waste heat boilers to recover flue gas waste heat, with a remaining heat utilization rate of 45% to 80%, is currently the most commonly used method for waste heat recovery.
