Overview

The homogenization furnace is mainly used for heating hot steel ingots after homogenization and demolding, and can also heat cold steel ingots. The homogenization furnace works periodically, and its temperature and heating systems change over time. A blast furnace is a high energy consuming equipment in steel enterprises. Its thermal efficiency is generally only 20% to 30%, with about 70% to 80% of the heat lost to the surrounding environment and carried away by smoke exhaust. The heat loss carried away by smoke accounts for about 30% to 35%. The flue gas volume of the heating furnace varies depending on the size of the furnace type, generally ranging from 7000 to 300000 m3/h (standard state). The flue gas temperature is generally between 550 and 990 ℃, with some exceeding 1000 ℃. The significant benefits of waste heat recovery from soaking furnaces have undoubtedly become a focus of industry. Flue gas waste heat recovery is relative to liquid waste heat recovery and solid waste heat recovery, and in terms of process technology and recoverable quantity, flue gas is the main object of waste heat recovery. For different industries, from chemical engineering to metallurgy, from electricity to petrochemicals, there are different temperatures and flow rates of waste gas generated, but the proportion of attention and utilization of this resource is not high nationwide. The waste heat boiler of the equalizing furnace is designed from the perspective of energy conservation, which reuses the waste heat of the equalizing furnace to heat the combustion air. When the combustion air is heated to 400 ℃, an energy-saving effect of 20% to 25% can be achieved.

Working principle

The waste heat boiler of the homogenization furnace consists of a drum, a movable hood, a feeding pipe groove, an oxygen gun mouth, a furnace mouth section flue, an inclined 1st section flue, an inclined 2nd section flue, a last 1st section flue, a last 2nd section flue, a nitrogen sealing device and nitrogen sealing plug, a manhole, a micro differential pressure tapping device, supports and hangers for the flue, etc.

The waste heat boiler of a uniform heat furnace is different from conventional boilers in that it does not undergo a combustion process and does not have any combustion related equipment. Essentially, it is just a gas water/steam heat exchanger.

The waste heat boiler of the equalizing furnace is divided into six circulation loops, each consisting of a downcomer and an riser. The feedwater from each section of the flue is introduced from the drum through the downcomer to the lower header of each flue and then enters each heating surface. After passing through the heating surface, steam is generated and enters the inlet header, which is then introduced into the drum through the riser.
