Overview

The production of sodium dichromate mainly consists of the preparation section of sodium chromate and the acidification section of sodium chromate to produce sodium dichromate. In the preparation section of sodium chromate, the oxidation roasting of chromite ore mainly uses chromite ore as raw material, mixed with 90-120% theoretical amount of sodium carbonate and 3-6 times the amount of chromite ore as filler, and roasted at a high temperature of 1000-1300C in a rotary kiln. The roasted clinker is leached with water to obtain a sodium chromate solution. In the process of preparing sodium chromate by high-temperature oxidation roasting of chromite, due to the presence of impurities in chromite and the addition of foreign fillers, 0.5-3.0 tons of chromium containing waste residue are generated for every ton of sodium aluminate produced. At the same time, a large amount of dust and waste gas are generated under high temperature conditions. On average, more than 10000 cubic meters of waste gas are generated per ton of sodium aluminate. The waste heat boiler of the sodium aluminate rotary kiln is designed to recycle and utilize these high-temperature waste gases. Our company was dedicated to the research and design of waste heat boilers in the late 1980s. Our products are widely used in industries such as building materials, chemical engineering, and metallurgy, and have obtained 11 utility model patents and 1 invention patent. This red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boiler is an efficient and reliable energy-saving chemical waste heat boiler applied in the red alum sodium manufacturing industry. Based on the different types, scales, process flows, and production equipment of red alum sodium rotary kilns, our company has developed high-temperature, medium temperature, and low-temperature red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boilers for the 100t/d~10000t/d red alum sodium industry.

Product Details

Working principle

The high-temperature flue gas from the red alum sodium rotary kiln is transported through the flue to the inlet of the red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boiler, then flows through the heater, evaporator, and economizer, and finally discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. The exhaust temperature is generally 150-180 ℃, and the heat released by the flue gas temperature dropping from high temperature to exhaust temperature is used to turn water into steam. The feedwater of the sodium aluminate rotary kiln boiler first enters the economizer, where the water absorbs heat and heats up to a saturation temperature slightly lower than the pressure of the steam drum before entering the drum. After the water entering the drum mixes with the saturated water inside the drum, it enters the evaporator along the downcomer below the drum to absorb heat and start producing steam. Usually, only a portion of the water is converted into steam, so the mixture flowing inside the steam generator is a mixture of steam and water. The steam water mixture leaves the evaporator and enters the upper drum for separation by a steam water separation device. The water falls into the water space inside the drum and enters the downcomer to continue absorbing heat and producing steam. The steam enters the superheater from the upper part of the drum to absorb heat and turn saturated steam into superheated steam. According to the three stages of the steam production process corresponding to three heating surfaces, namely the economizer, evaporator, and superheater, if superheated steam is not required and only saturated steam is needed, the superheater can be omitted. When there is reheated steam, a reheater can be added.

Performance characteristics

1. The heating surface of the red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boiler adopts a suspended structure, which is conducive to absorbing boiler expansion and has a high operating safety factor;

2. The waste heat boiler of the sodium aluminate rotary kiln adopts a special sealing device to reduce air leakage and improve the efficiency of the boiler;

3. Reasonable smoke velocity design is adopted for each heating surface of the red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boiler, which is conducive to preventing ash accumulation;

4. The waste heat boiler of the sodium aluminate rotary kiln adopts a straight through layout, which can use the self weight of dust for self ash removal, maintain the cleanliness of the heating surface, and improve the heat exchange efficiency of the boiler;

5. Reasonably organize the flue gas power field of the boiler to ensure smooth and uniform flow of flue gas, avoid bias flow, and adopt a dedicated wear-resistant structure to prevent boiler wear and improve the service life of the waste heat boiler of the sodium aluminate rotary kiln;

6. The convection tube bundle of the boiler adopts an organizational structure, with a short installation cycle and low cost. At the same time, the red alum sodium rotary kiln waste heat boiler has the advantages of small footprint, low civil engineering investment, high heat exchange efficiency, and strong self dust removal capacity.
